Solar water/thermal heating
Solar thermal systems use the sun to generate heat. Using solar radiation for heating water can reduce your hot water energy bill by up to 50-80% and can provide hot water up to 80ºC. Even in the spring and autumn and on clear winter days solar panels will generate heat.
There are a number of solar water heating collectors to choose from, which can be mounted on buildings, ideally on the roof, facing south, south-east or south-west, which will operate up to 95% efficiency.
Solar water heating can be used to provide hot water for direct use and also for space heating systems.
